AYO! 9m2

CHARM Vic in collaboration with Clifford Edouard will hold AYO! 9m2  at Bunjil Place,
2 Patrick Northeast Drive, Narre Warren in September 2018.

The play is based on a social chronicle by Mathieu Burger, adapted and directed by Clifford Edouard.

AYO! 9m2 addresses issues faced by people forced to leave their country of birth and seek a better life abroad. The play is based on challenges experienced by migrants who left the island of Mauritius when that country was in a state of social turmoil. The title of the play reflects the frustration, despair and predicament of a number of newly arrived immigrants forced to live in a confined space.
